Northern half
Durango Drive begins at an intersection with Moccasin Road in northern Las Vegas at the Las Vegas–Desert National Wildlife Refuge border in the neighborhood of Tule Springs. The road heads south from there to intersect with Brent Lane, which provides access to Tule Springs Road and Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs. Durango Drive continues south and eventually southeast before entering the El Capitan alignment and has an interchange with U.S. Route 95. From there, it continues into the Centennial Hills neighborhood of Las Vegas and serves the Centennial Hills Hospital. Near the southern area of Centennial Hills, Durango Drive has an interchange with CC 215. Continuing from there, the road curves southeast and re-enters its proper grid alignment and eventually intersects with Cheyenne Avenue at the Summerlin neighborhood and continues south into the El Capitan Way alignment again as Rampart Boulevard.
Southern half
Although being part of the southern half of Durango Drive, the road is still signed as North Durango Drive from its northern terminus at Vegas Drive to the Summerlin Parkway (Nevada State Route 613) interchange where it becomes South Durango Drive. Like most other major north-south grid roads west of Interstate 15, Durango Drive curves southeast before intersecting with Charleston Boulevard (Nevada State Route 159), from where it continues straight south through Spring Valley to its southern interchange with CC 215. Nearby the interchange are Nevada's first IKEA furniture store, opened in 2016,[1] and the future site of the UnCommons mixed-use development by Matter Real Estate.[2] Durango Drive eventually enters Enterprise and intersects with Blue Diamond Road (State Route 160) in the Mountain's Edge neighborhood. From there, Durango Drive continues south and reaches its southern terminus at the Starr Avenue intersection.
Durango Drive is section line road from Warm Springs Road to Windmill lane for 1 mile dividing Spring Valley and Enterprise.
