Depressaria pyrenaella

Depressaria pyrenaella is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Jan Šumpich in 2013. It is found in the Pyrenees of Spain and France (Region of Languedoc-Roussillon).[1]

The wingspan is 29–30 mm. The forewings are light brown to brown, with the venation markedly dusted with black scales. The hindwings are silvery white, darkened at the front margin and apex.[2]

Etymology

The specific name is derived from the mountains where the type material was collected.[3]
