David W. Zucker
David W. Zucker is a television executive and executive producer, most famous for The Good Wife. He is currently President of Television for Scott Free Productions. He is also the executive producer of such shows, as television adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s book The Man in the High Castle for Amazon, the spin-off show The Good Fight for CBS, the AMC horror anthology series The Terror, the CBS drama Strange Angel, and the FOX television adaptation of The Passage, Justin Cronin’s fantasy book trilogy.

Career
Zucker worked as a story editor on the CBS television series Judging Amy, wrote pilot scripts for CBS and ABC, as well as various stage plays.
Zucker served as Vice President of Drama Series for CBS and Vice President of Drama Series and Current Programs at Warner Bros. Television. While Zucker was President of Television for Scott Free Productions, Scott Free has produced several programs including Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated The Good Wife, crime drama Numb3rs, Civil War medical drama Mercy Street on PBS and Amazon half-hour action-comedy starring Jean-Claude Van Damme as Jean-Claude Van Johnson. Notable long-form programs include Emmy-nominated National Geographic Channel series of Killing telefilms (which include Killing Reagan, Killing Kennedy and Killing Lincoln), Klondike for Discovery Channel, Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated The Pillars of the Earth for Starz, World Without End for Reelz, Emmy-nominated Into the Storm for HBO, The Andromeda Strain and Coma for A&E, Golden Globe-nominated The Company at TNT, and a feature-length digital series for Xbox/Microsoft, Halo: Nightfall. Scott Free also produced non-fiction programs including Crimes of the Century and documentary special Gettysburg for History Channel.
His most recent work is National Geographic series The Hot Zone, based on Richard Preston book and starring Julianna Margulies. Awards and non-fiction series
During his tenure, Scott Free has produced several acclaimed programs including Starz's eight-hour limited series, Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth, an Emmy and Golden Globe nominee, starring Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell and Donald Sutherland, and the subsequent World Without End, featuring Cynthia Nixon and Ben Chaplin for Reelz, which won one of show's two Emmy nominations.[9] Other shows include HBO's Into the Storm, an Emmy winning sequel to the Emmy-winning telefilm, The Gathering Storm,[10] A&E Emmy-nominated mini-series, Michael Crichton's The Andromeda Strain, starring Benjamin Bratt[11] and Robin Cook's medical thriller, Coma, with Geena Davis, James Woods, Richard Dreyfus, and Ellen Burstyn.[12] TNT's six-hour spy thriller, The Company was a Golden Globe nominee, with Michael Keaton and Alfred Molina.[13] CBS's drama The Good Wife has been nominated for two Golden Globe Best Drama awards.
In the non-fiction arena, two broadcasts in 2013, adaptations of Bill O’Reilly's books Killing Kennedy and Killing Lincoln both delivered good ratings for National Geographic channel, while documentary series, Crimes of the Century was featured on CNN. Emmy-winning documentary special, Gettysburg, was also produced for the History Channel.[14]
