Damthang
Damthang is a town in Paro District in western Bhutan.[1] It is located 75 km from the Paro Airport at Paro, 120 km from national capital Thimpu.

It is the location of the base of Royal Bhutan Army's China-focused base to protect disputed pasture lands at Doklam (site of 2017 China–India border standoff on India-Bhutan-China tri-junction), Sinchulumpa, Charithang and Dramana, all of which are at a distance of 15 km as crow flies or a two-day trek for foot-mounted troops.[2] Indian Army has base at the Ha district headquarter, just 11 km south of Damthang.[2]
