Dalanbayar Delgermaa

Dalanbayar Delgermaa (Mongolian: Даланбаярын Дэлгэрмааг; born 9 September 1992) is a Mongolian former inline speed skater and long track speed skater, who was active between 2007 and 2018.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

Delgermaa studied at the "Etugen" institute.[8] As a junior Delgermaa received the bronze medal in 2009 at the national championships, and was national allround champion in 2010, 2011 and 2012. She also won medals at the junior single-distance championships. As an inline speed skater she also competed in multiple events at the 2009 World Roller Speed Skating Championships in China.[9][10] At the elite level Delgermaa represented her nation at international competitions.

She became a member of the Kia Speed Skating Academy and trained with the team in Inzell, Germany. She competed at the 2012 and 2013 Asian Speed Skating Championships, winning the silver medal at the 2012 Asian Speed Skating Championships in the 1500-metre event.[11] After setting two new national records during the 2013 Mongolia's National University Games, she qualified for the 2013 Winter Universiade in Italy.[8] She qualified for the Mongolian team at the 2017 Asian Winter Games[12] but did not compete at it. She also participated at other international competitions in Canada, Kazakhstan and Germany, including the 2013 and 2016 Olympic Oval Finale; the final competition of the Canada Cup.[11]

She has improved a total of 19 Mongolian speed skating records, and as of 2020 she still holds the records in the 3000-metre, 5000-metre, mini-combination and sprint combination events.[11] From 2008 to 2018 she contested the national championships nine times, earning four national championships as well as one silver medal and two bronze medals.[11]
