Cwmhiraeth
Cwmhiraeth is a hamlet in Carmarthenshire. Its name is Welsh and means the "valley of longing" in that language.

It is near Dre-fach Felindre and was settled as part of the wool industry which developed in this area, making flannel.[1] A woolen mill was built there in the 19th century, using water power from the Nant Brân stream, which flows through its valley. The National Wool Museum now records the history of the area.[2]
