Christian Kwabena Asante
Christian Kwabena Asante is a Ghanaian politician and also a teacher. He served for the Bia constituency in the western Region of Ghana.[1][2]
Early life and education
Christian Kwabena Asante was born on 23 October 1940. He studied at Government Training College where he obtained a teacher certificate A.
Politics
Asante was a member of the 2nd parliament of the 4th republic of Ghana represented during the 1996 Ghanaian general election on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress. He represented first in 1992 and win again in 1996 with 37,250 votes against Benjamin Armah of New Patriotic party.[3] He was succeeded by Michael Coffie Boampong of NDC.
