Chloanthes stoechadis

Chloanthes stoechadis is a flowering plant in the mint family. The specific epithet refers to its lavender like leaves. Often seen on dry forest and woodland, on poor sandy soils. Collected in Sydney in the early 19th Century, this is one of the many plants first published by Robert Brown with the type known as "(J.) v.v." It appears in his Prodromus Florae Novae Hollandiae et Insulae Van Diemen in 1810.[1][2]
