History

The club was formed as a feeder club to Chippenham Town in 2012, replacing the adult teams of FC Chippenham Youth.[1] They were admitted to the Premier Division of the Wiltshire League,[1] finishing third in their first season.[2] This was enough for promotion to Division One of the Western League, where the club played until it folded.[3]

Chippenham Park were folded on 30 April 2019 by chairman Neil Blackmore who announced that the Chippenham Town U23 squad would replace Park on the club's youth structure system.[4]

Ground

The club played at Chippenham Town's Hardenhuish Park. The ground opened in 1919, with a new clubhouse built in 1979 and floodlights installed in 1986.[5] Covered standing is provided behind one goal and along the opposite side of the pitch to the main stand. This was built in 1993, replacing an earlier stand that had been damaged by storms.[5] The pitch at Hardenhuish Park has a noticeable slope, downwards towards the Bristol Road end.[5] The ground currently has a capacity of 3,000, of which 300 is seated and 1,000 covered.[6]
