Chicalon

Chicalón is a derogatory term for an unrefined Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico resident.

Chicalon derives from the nickname "Chicali", for the city of Mexicali. It can be used in many forms, but mostly it describes a person from Mexicali that studies or work in Calexico but lives in Mexicali. The term can also describe a female (Chicalona). Chicalon is mostly used by middle and upper class teens (Fresitas).
