Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal
Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal is a jurist and Judge of Lahore High Court, Lahore, Pakistan.[1] Prior to this he was serving as Additional Advocate General Punjab. He is a graduate of University of the Punjab and earned his law degree of LL.B. from Punjab Law College in 1989 and entered in the legal profession by joining Alamghir Law Chambers. He was a life member of Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan.[2]

Biography
Chaudhry was born on November 1st, 1966 in Pakistan. After completing his basic schooling, he completed his graduation from University of the Punjab and admitted in Punjab Law College for legal studies. He secured LL.B. degree in 1989 and started law practice. First he became the Associate of Alamghir senior Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, then he joined the Chamber of Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry who was later elevated as Judge of Lahore High Court then Chief Justice Lahore High Court and Judge Supreme Court of Pakistan.[3]
As Advocate General
Before elevation to the Bench, Justice Chaudhry was serving as Additional Advocate General Punjab to represent the Government of Punjab in the Lahore High Court and Supreme Court of Pakistan. He remained team member of Khawaja Haris and Ashtar Ausaf Ali Advocate Generals.[4]
Appointment as Justice
The President of Pakistan appointed him as a Judge of Lahore High Court, Lahore on November 7th, 2014 and he took the oath as Judge along with fellow Judges who were also appointed i.e. Justice Shahid Karim, Justice Mirza Viqas Rauf, Justice Chaudhry Mushtaq Ahmed, Justice Masud Abid Naqvi.[1] His appointment was confirmed by the Judicial Commission of Pakistan, along with Justices Khalid Mahmood Malik, Chaudhry Mushtaq Ahmad and Masood Abid Naqvi, on 18 October 2016.[5]
