Charissa Chamorro

Charissa Cree Chamorro (born April 26, 1977 in Baytown, Texas) is an American television actress of Chilean heritage,[1] best known for her leading roles on such soap operas as Guiding Light as Victoria "Tory" Granger (2001–2002)[2] and One Life to Live (OLTL) as Detective Sophia Pellegrino (1999–2001).[3]

She was recommended by TV Guide to replace Elisabeth Röhm as the Assistant District Attorney on Law & Order (a role that eventually went to Annie Parisse),[4] which would have made her the youngest ADA in Law & Order history.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Boston University and has worked extensively in theater.
