Changzhou University
Changzhou University is a higher educational institute in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. It operates 68 undergraduate programs and 20 graduate school programs, including a PhD program in material science, and 11 masters programs in various majors.[3] The university has 3 campuses. The current main campus is the 71-ha Wujin Campus located in southern Changzhou. The Baiyun Campus is the old campus in the northwest of the Changzhou city and has an area of 31 ha. The newest West Lake Tai Campus is in the southwest of the city with an area of about 68 ha.[4] There is also an affiliated Changzhou University Huaide College in the city of Jingjiang.

History
The university's history can be traced back to 1978 when it was a branch campus of Nanjing Institute of Chemical Technology. In 1981, it became the Jiangsu Institute of Chemical Technology. In 1992, it was renamed as Jiangsu Institute of Petrochemical Technology. In 2001, the university merged with the Jiangsu Commercial Technical College and was renamed to Jiangsu Polytechnic University in the following year. In 2010, the university was renamed as Changzhou University (CZU). [5]
International Coorperation
Changzhou University offers international joint degree programs with St. Francis Xavier University (Canada), Maynooth University (Ireland), and New Jersey City University (USA). [6]. It also operates short-time exchange programs with universities in other countries including Universitat de Lleida (Spain), Kochi University (Japan), University of Missouri (USA), Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and Jönköping University (Sweden).
