Chandradeo Prasad Verma
Chandradeo Prasad Verma (21 January 1921 - 30 April 2005)[2] was a politician who was elected to the Lok Sabha's lower house of the Parliament of India from the Arrah, Bihar in 1977, 1980 and 1996. He was the Union Minister of State for Rural Areas and Employment.He was earlier Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly and a Cabinet minister in Bihar.[3][4][5]

Life and career
Chandradeo represented upper strata of middle peasant castes. He was a member of Koeri community. In one of his election campaign, he made the issue of revival of Ranvir Sena, an upper caste militant outfit, as the focal point of his overall campaigning.[6]
