Carystus (mythology)

Carystus /kəˈrɪstəs/ (or Carycus), in Greek mythology, was the eponym of the town of Carystus on Euboea. He was the son of Chiron and a nymph Chariclo, brother of Hippe, Endeïs and Ocyrhoe. Carystus was the father of Zarex,[1] and also a certain Aristaeus.[2][3][4]
