Cabot Phillips

Cabot Phillips (born November 29, 1993) is a conservative political activist and American media personality. He is currently a writer and editor at The Daily Wire.[1] Previously, he served as Editor-in-Chief[2] of the conservative publication CampusReform.org and the Director of Campus Outreach[3] for The Leadership Institute, a conservative grassroots organization[4] in Arlington, Virginia. Both Newsmax[5] and Red Alert Politics have named Phillips to their "30 Under 30" lists[6] of the nation's most influential young conservatives.

Early life and education

Phillips is from Leesburg, Virginia.[7] He graduated from Liberty University in 2015, where he was a recipient of The Dean's Award and host of a primetime FM radio show on 90.9 WQLU.[8]

Career

Formerly, he served as Digital Grassroots Director on Senator Marco Rubio's 2016 Presidential campaign.[9]

Phillips is a regular guest on Fox News,[10] The Blaze, and Newsmax TV,[11] providing political commentary from a millennial point of view. Throughout the 2016 Presidential campaign, his conservative "man on the street" videos garnered millions of views[12] and appeared on The Drudge Report, The Rush Limbaugh Show, The O'Reilly Factor,[13] Hannity, and more.

Phillips is a YouTube partner,[14] creating and starring in a series of videos which have been viewed over 100 million times on a variety of online platforms. In April 2016, his video "Brothers Convince Little Sister of Zombie Apocalypse"[15] went viral, landing him and his siblings an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.[16] The video was viewed over 80 million times online and was named to YouTube's official list of the Top 10 most popular viral videos of the year.[17]
