Buddleja davidii 'Amplissima' is an old cultivar raised by the Lemoine nursery at Nancy, circa 1911. [1]

Description
'Amplissima' grows to a height of 3.0 m. The foliage is dark green, turning bluish-green to grey in summer. The huge mauve panicles appear in summer. [2]
Cultivation
'Amplissima' requires full sun, and performs best in temperate climates. It is not known to be in cultivation in the UK. Hardiness: USDA zones 5–9.[2]
