Botnedalen

Botnedalen is a valley in the municipality of Tokke in Vestfold og Telemark, Norway. It used to contain a number of mountain farms. Water from the lake Botnedalsvatn is utilised in the Byrte Hydroelectric Power Station.[1]

Botnedalen is known for the occurrence of various minerals, including hausmannite,[2] jacobsite,[3] braunite,[4] bustamite[5] and rhodonite.[6]
