Bothrocophias myersi

Bothrocophias myersi, commonly known as the Chocoan toadheaded pitviper, is a species of venomous viper.[2]

Geographic range

The snake is presenta in Pacific región of the department of Cauca and Valle del Cauca Departments of Colombia. It occurs between 75 and 200 meters of altitude.[2]

Etymology

The specific name, myersi, is in honor of the herpetologist Charles William Myers.[3]
