Boone County Sheriff's Office (Kentucky)
The Boone County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), is a local county law enforcement agency that serves Boone County, Kentucky. The Boone County Sheriff's Office provides general-service law enforcement to unincorporated areas of Boone County, serving as the equivalent to county police for the unincorporated areas of the county. It has only served in this role since the Boone County Police Department merged into the BCSO in 2001.[2] As of 2017, the Boone County Sheriff's department currently has over 155 sworn Deputies, with 84 deputies assigned to the Patrol Division of the BCSD.

Boone County Jail
The Boone County Jail provides short-term incarceration services for all of Boone County. The Boone County Jail services all law enforcement agencies in Boone County including the Kentucky State Police, the Florence Police Department, the Boone County Sheriff's Office, and the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport Police Department. The Boone County Jail system consists of the main jail and a workcamp facility. The Main Jail has the capacity of housing 424 maximum, medium, and minimum security inmates. The workcamp houses 76 minimum security inmates. The Jailer is currently Jason Maydak as of February 2018.[3]
