Bertha Müller

Bertha Müller (1848–1925) was an Austrian painter.[1]

Biography

Müller was born on 28 October 1848 in Vienna.[2] She was the sister of Marie Müller[3] and the Austrian genre painter Leopold Carl Müller. She exhibited her work in the rotunda of The Woman's Building at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois.[4] Her paintings include a portrait of the fashion designer Emilie Louise Flöge with a mandolin[5] and her portrait of Queen Victoria is in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery, London.[6] Müller died in 1925.[2]
