Baby Aline Vargas-Alfonso
Baby Aline Vargas-Alfonso (born in Abulug, Cagayan) was a Filipino politician. She was the youngest daughter of former Congressman and Governor Florencio Vargas.[1] Vargas-Alfonso was elected as Vice Mayor of Abulug, Cagayan in 2007.[2] When her father died, she run for Congress to finish the term of his father.[3]. Vargas-Alfonso accused that she is one of sources of fake SARO (Special Allotment Release Order) forms.[4] In 2019 Vargas-Alfonso finished her three consecutive terms as Congresswoman from Cagayan's Second District.[5] Her daughter Sam Vargas Alfonso run for Congress in 2019 as her successor in Congressional Seat.[6]
