Augusto Perfetti is the son of Ambrogio Perfetti, who founded the Perfetti confectionery company with his brother Egidio.[1]

Personal life
He lives in Switzerland.[1] He was having a large motor yacht Air built for him by the Lurssen yard in 2005, but received an offer from Suleiman Kerimov that he "could not refuse". The yacht was renamed Ice, and Perfetti had another yacht also called Air built for him by the Dutch yacht builder Royal De Vries instead.[2]
