Career

In 2012, they opened a studio and established themselves in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Audio Playground releases its songs simultaneously in various formats and versions in a unique formula targeting diverse genres, including pop, dance, electro, hard house, Latin hip‐hop and urban, cooperating with many DJs, producers and performers. They also work on utilizing various languages- mostly English, French and Spanish, to maximize the reach of their audience worldwide.

In April 2013, the group signed a distribution agreement with Sony Music Canada. Their first release under that agreement was the multi-lingual hit single "You Never Know", their second collaboration with Snoop (now known as Snoop Lion) which peaked at #5 on the US Billboard dance chart and was a national radio hit in Canada garnering over 11,000 BDS radio spins according to Nielsen Soundscan. The song pays homage to Bob Marley's classic "Could You Be Loved" and was recorded in five languages "On Ne Sait Jamais" (French), "Amame" (Spanish), "Mai Dire Mai" (Italian) and "Sagapo" (Greek). Their following hit "Hands Up in the Air" topped the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs chart in 2014.

While being interviewed on Ottawa's French NRJ radio network in August 2013, Audio Playground announced that they are preparing the launch of new artists in the pop and singer/songwriter genres that they have been developing since establishing their new studio and production house in Montreal.[2]
