Ashley Nazira (born 11 November 1995) is a Mauritian professional footballer who plays for San Diego Loyal SC in the USL Championship.

Club career
Nazira began playing football at age six or seven.[1] He played for Boulet Rouge of the Mauritian Premier League for his entire career and was the league's top goal scorer four times.[1] Nazira signed for the San Diego Loyal SC of the USL Championship on a 2-year deal in December 2019. In doing so, he became the first player from Mauritius to play in a top league in North America.[2][3] He previously had a successful trial with Réunion Premier League club Saint-Pauloise FC in February 2019 after being top goal scorer in the Mauritian first division with twenty goals.[4] However the signing was put on hold by the club for financial reasons.[5]
International career
Nazira made his senior international debut for Mauritius on 25 March 2015 in a 2–2 friendly draw with Burundi.[6] With three goals, he was the join top-scorer at the 2019 COSAFA Cup.[2][3]
