Armando Barrera

Armando Barrera (born 18 November 1995)[1] is a Cuban swimmer. In 2019, he represented Cuba at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju, South Korea.[1]

In 2014, he won the bronze medal in the men's 100 metre backstroke event at the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games held in Veracruz, Mexico. In the same year, he also competed in the 50 metre backstroke, 100 metre backstroke and 200 metre backstroke events at the 2014 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m) held in Doha, Qatar. In 2015, he competed in the men's 100 metre backstroke and men's 200 metre backstroke events at the 2015 Pan American Games held in Toronto, Canada.

In 2018, he won the silver medal in both the men's 100 metre backstroke and men's 200 metre backstroke events at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games held in Barranquilla, Colombia.[2]
