Aria (Crete)
Aria (Ancient Greek: Ἀρια), or Albe or Arbe, was a town and polis (city-state)[1] of ancient Crete.[2] The name is not attested but the demonyms (Ἀριαῖοι and Ἄρβιος) are.[1] Aria minted coins in the 3rd century BCE.[1]
The site of Aria is tentatively located near the modern Arvi.[2][3]
