Archila (Also written as “Archila”) means “the waterfall” in Arabic. It comes from the word “Al-shilal” (الشلال). This last name is recognized in Levante and Mashrek and also common in Palestine, Lebanon and Siria. Some people with this surname live in Western Europe and Latin America as war refugees.
