Aowin/Suaman District
The Aowin Municipal is a Municipal of Ghana in the Western North Region. It was created from the division of the Aowin Suaman District into two separate entities, the Aowin Municipal and the Suaman district.

It shares common boundaries with Wassa Amenfi, Jomoro, Sefwi-Wiawso and Juabeso-Bia Districts. It is bordered by Côte d'Ivoire to the west. The Municipal capital is Enchi. The two main rivers are Tano and Bia and along with numerous tributaries are perennials which drain the Municipal all the year round.[1]
