Anomoeodus is an extinct genus of prehistoric ray-finned fish from the Albian to Maastrichtian of France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Egypt, Uzbekistan and the United States.

It was one of the largest genera of Pycnodontiformes, being able to grow to 1 meter (3.3ft) long. Like many members of its family, it was mainly durophagous, feeding on crustaceans and mollusks
