Aila Tartia

Aila Tartia (born August 1957) is a Finnish former long track speed skater, who was active in the 1970s and 1980s.[1]

Tartia represented her nation six times at the World Allround Speed Skating Championships for Women. In 1982 (finishing 25th overall), 1983, 1984 (finishing 19th overall), 1985 (finishing 26th overall), 1986 (finishing 21st overall) and in 1988 (finishing 23rd overall).[2] She competed at World Sprint Speed Skating Championships for Women in 1985 (26th overall). She participated eight times at the European Speed Skating Championships for Women in 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987 and in 1988. She also competed at other international competitions including at the ISU Speed Skating World Cups.[2]

Between 1974 and 1989 she competed a total of 25 times at the Finnish Allround Championships and Finnish Sprint Championships and became nine times national champion.[2]
