Adil Arif

Adil Tahir Arif (born 8 November 1994) is an Emirati former first-class cricketer.

Arif was born at Sharjah in November 1994. He was educated in England at Durham School, before going up to Anglia Ruskin University.[1] While studying at Anglia Ruskin, he made his debut in first-class cricket for Cambridge MCCU against Surrey at Fenner's in 2014. He played first-class cricket for Cambridge MCCU until 2017, making seven appearances.[2] He scored 145 runs in his seven first-class matches, at an average of 12.08 and a high score of 49.[3] With his right-arm medium pace bowling, he took 7 wickets with best figures of 2 for 29.[4] In addition to playing first-class cricket, Arif also played minor counties cricket for Bedfordshire in 2015, making a single appearance in the MCCA Knockout Trophy.[5]
