Abhalmaya
Abhalmaya was an Indian Marathi television series. Which was aired on Alpha TV Marathi. It is one of the successful Marathi television series.[1] It starred Sukanya Kulkarni, Manoj Joshi, Sanjay Mone, Atisha Naik, Harshada Khanvilkar, Manava Naik, Pari Telang in lead roles.[2][3][4]

Plot
The story revolves around the Professor Sudha Joshi teach in Ratanbai College, whose family includes her husband Sharad who is also a professor, and they have two daughters Akansha and Anushka. When Sharad falls in love with another Professor Chitra whom he have a one daughter also Chingi, it leads to a rift in the family.[5][6]

Sequel
The producer of the show Mr.Vaze stated that, "There is a big demand from the home viewers to revive the subject of 'Abhalmaya', as they felt very much attached to the characters and their close associations with each other. So, we can expect 'Abhalmaya 2' or cinematic version of 'Abhalmaya 2'."[7]
