Overview
The album was recorded on August 25, 2000 in Wantagh, New York at Jones Beach Amphitheater. It was selected by the band as one of 18 "Ape/Man" shows from the tour, which, according to bassist Jeff Ament, were shows the band found "really exciting."[2] AllMusic gave it four and a half out of a possible five stars. Allmusic staff writer Zac Johnson said, "The last show in Jones Beach proves to be one of those nights where everything falls into place: The band feeds off of the crowd's energy, and the audience pays them back in full. One of the better shows in this series by far."[1] It debuted at number 159 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
