1994 Bracebridge municipal election
The 1994 Bracebridge municipal election was held on November 14, 1994, to elect a mayor, councillors, and school trustees in the town of Bracebridge, Ontario.

- Russ Black has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen's University and has practiced municipal law in Bracebridge for several decades.[1] He served one term as mayor of Bracebridge, from 1994 to 1997, and declared a state of emergency for the community in December 1995 when a particularly severe blizzard hit the area.[2] After standing down as mayor, Black was appointed as a director of the Muskoka Heritage Trust.[3]
