Árni Johnsen

Árni Johnsen (born 1 March 1944) is an Icelandic politician from Vestmannaeyjar, representing the Independence Party in the Althing as a member of the South Constituency. In 2001 he was convicted of paying for personal property using government accounts and sentenced to two years in prison.[1] After his release, he was re-elected. He annually leads singalongs at the festival Þjóðhátíð.[2]

This is an Icelandic name. The last name is a family name, but this person is referred to by the given name Árni.
